Kamasutra by Ionna Vautrin
We are proud to host an exhibition of illustrations by Ionna Vautrin, a French designer whose creations combine softness and precision of lines for public and private spaces. Ioanna explores drawing as a space of freedom. Under the lively strokes of her felt-tip pens, a tribe of frail and expressive bodies comes to life, embracing each other and playing with balance. Acrobats, dancers and tightrope walkers become joyful figures of light eroticism, tinged with humour and poetry.
Published by Flammarion in 2017, this selection of drawings are on display at Sessius 1622. The 100 illustrated aphorisms in this Kamasutra celebrate, playfully, the infinite variations of love.

The Sacred Dimension of Chocolate
We are proud to host an exhibition developed by the Weiss chocolate factory in partnership with students from the Master’s program in Object Design at the Saint-Étienne Higher School of Art and Design. They approached chocolate as a precious resource to be preserved and reimagined in response to the scarcity of cocoa. Their projects highlight a meaningful, ethically engaged chocolate infused with sacred, mythical, and ritual elements while rethinking traditional uses. The designs also emphasize local heritage and craftsmanship, celebrating Weiss as a living heritage company and drawing inspiration from Saint-Étienne’s traditional tools and the raw materials of chocolate, such as cocoa beans and pods. The exhibition was conceived for the 2025 Saint-Étienne International Design Biennale.

Luis Marques solo exhibition
For our Artists’ Pop-up Studio, we’re thrilled to host Luis Marques, a Portuguese-born artist based in Geneva. His work explores a deep passion for drawing, enriched by his background in architecture. In his series of drawings, titled The Silver Planets, Marques set himself the challenge of creating a continuous line of graphics, almost like a meditation. Each line, shaped by a previous thought, influences the next. This practice becomes a ritual of managing fullness and emptiness, controlling the pace and focus of each gesture.

Camélias en Fête
The Festival of Camellias presents a special selection of camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas from a specialized nursery in Tuscany. All plants come from a small nursery managed by Mr Andrea Antongiovanni, appointed by the government of Tuscany as official custodian of historical cultivars of camellias from the region. Andrea has been working exclusively with camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas for the past 25 years in S.Ginese di Compito, in the Lucca area. His selection includes historical camellias from Lucchesia together with new cultivars created by himself and he will be happy to share his experience and advice.
